The Chamber's mission is:
Serve as an advisor to the government on issues of trade, industry, services and general development policies. Specifically to:
- Formulate, prioritise and record responses and interventions to statutes which are relevant to our members activities
- Provide a monitoring service of the current challenges to the trade, industry and service sectors and help them to minimise disadvantages and maximise their strenghts
- Create a climate of cooperation and trust between all parties
To represent, support and inform our members. Specifically to:
- Systematically keep our membership informed about critical economic and business issues
- Provide a free information and advisory service to our members
- Organise conferences, workshops and meetings to analyse specific aspects of the economy and issues relevant to the sectors of our membership
- Organise and participate in business missions, both domestic and international, with a view to strengthening our economic relationships
- Conduct surveys and studies to improve the productivity and awareness of our members businesses
- Develop contacts with European and international organisations and bodies, to inform and promote the interest of Greek business
- Organise training and educational programs and seminars to improve human resources for our members businesses
- Organise an annual Business Award, aimed at rewarding entrepreneurship and business excellence which contribute to the economic and social development of Greece
With initiative, action and intervention, The Chamber seeks to:
- provide the greatest possible encouragement and assistance to individual business initiatives
- the elimination of obstacles to pave the way to productivity
- creating the right environment to attract and promote new investments
- enhance the competitiveness of local enterprises and thereby the Greek economy
- the creation of a legal and administrative framework that will promote efficiency, transparency and fair trade for all
- strengthening small and medium enterprises in order to meet the demands of the modern business environment
- promoting research and technology, and their adoption by Greek companies
- promote a more flexible labor market and reducing unemployment
- support Greek enterprises to strengthen their presence in international markets
- upgrading and adapting the education system to meet the needs of the modern market place
- promote the principles of corporate social responsibility and support businesses to be environmentally responsible
- expand the services we offer, thus improving our members businesses
